Sorry to break into the obvious on line love affair with the new Mustangs, but for the record and for those who may now have heard, Jeff Ford is moving over to Mustang and Fords magazine and Donald Farr is once again assuming that position with Mustang Monthly. That information is straight from Don Farr himself.

Ron,

I realize that your original note was sent out over a week ago, but I'm
behind on my emails.

This does not surprise me. Long time Mustang magazine readers will
remember that Donald Farr had 4 previous stints as Editor of Mustang
Monthly. Jim Smart was editor of Mustang Monthly in the early 1980s,
went to Mustang (later known as Mustang & Ford), then was renamed
editor of Mustang Monthly in the late 1990s. Jerry Pitt was editor of
Mustang in the early 1990s, but was named editor of Mustang Monthly
in the mid-1990s. Bob McClurg was a staff writer for Fabulous Mustang
and Exotic Fords in the early 1980s, then was named editor of Mustang
Illstrated in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The more things change,
the more they stay the same, I guess

I get the feeling that there's a great vat of recyclable Mustang/Ford
writers out there:

Donald Farr Bob McClurg Wayne Cook Larry Jewitt
Tom Corcoran Jerry Pitt Rob Reaser Tom Lawson
Jerry Heasley Earl Davis Jim Campisano Jeff Tan
Larry Dobbs Jeff Ford Kevn Boales Bruce Caldwell

This list makes me lament the fact that two of my favorite magazines
"Fabulous Mustang & Exotic Fords" and "Mustang Illustrated" are now
history. I don't know about you all, but if there were 10 monthly
magazines on Mustangs, I'd buy all 10.
