[GALAXIE] Bumpsteer kits/problems for lowered Galaxies???

I lowered my '65 Galaxie Ned Jarrett replica by cutting the front and rear
coil springs. I wanted the car to look like a racecar so it does sit pretty
darn low. After I lowered it, when I get ao about 30 MPH, it starts to dart all
over the place. Everytime I hit a small bump (constantly), it jerks to one
side or the other. The suspension is all new, totally rebuilt.
I read where it could possibly be a bumpsteer issue, since the car is
lowered and now the angle of the tie rod is different.
SO....I put a set of stock springs back in the front (raised it back to
stock height) and drove it down the road with no problems. No darting, no jerking.
SO....I guess it is a bumpsteer/tie rod issue.

Does anyone have any experience with the bumpsteer kits sold for lowered
Mustangs and such?
Could I modify one to fit my Gal?

Thanks for youe help,
Steve Bava
