In general, vacuum ports that are above the throttle plate are ported vacuum. Meaning of vacuum until the thottle is opened. Also, the higher up the carb the port is the later the vacuum starts. For example the port for the vacuum advance is usually lower than the egr port and will normally get vacuum earlier. <div>
